![]() Tl dr came for a smart strategy game, got a whack-a-mole game on a map. I find more strategy in Stardew Valley than this bovine refuse of a game. It's just too strategically braindead to be fun anymore. ![]() Set buildings were first introduced in the 2017 Spring Event with the release of the Cherry Garden Set. The battle gameplay and unit varieties, and faction uniqueness is really fun. Building Sets are special buildings that gain additional bonuses when placed next to another different building from a same set. It's a shame too, even if I came from the historical games, I really enjoyed the warhammer fantasy games, even though I was never acquainted to warhammer fantasy before TW:WH the first. I don't even play it in a roleplaying mindset. Alliances, regional powers, even victory felt hollow. But having them bypass 2-3 territories of his own enemy, disregard their own settlements defences JUST to attack you don't make for a compelling enemy to try against. The AI does not try to keep a meaningful or fun balance of power. After which, campaign AI slowly declined to the point I can't recommend this studio's games anymore. The campaign AI peaked around Shogun II - Rome II era, I think. ![]() Played almost every total war game since the first Rome Total War.
